Who can join the UK Psychics Referral Network?
Membership is open to all UK-based individuals and organizations offering goods or services in the psychic or Mind-Body-Spirit category. This can include psychics, Tarot readers, astrologers, mediums, healers, holistic therapists, makers and retailers of occult jewellery and other mystical-related paraphernalia, bookshops specializing in psychic and astrological-related publications, incense suppliers - and so on.

What are the benefits of membership?
As a member you will be entitled to a low-cost listing in our Directory of Consultants, and your contact and professional details will be made available to potential clients who contact our office requesting referral to consultants in your area, and to journalists and media researchers writing articles or making TV/radio programmes on psychic-related topics.

How do I join?
You become a member by submitting a listing for inclusion in our regional Directory, which has to be be approved by us. The cost of a basic listing, which includes a description of the services you are offering, your photo or logo, your contact details, and a link to your website, is £25/year. Listings
All listings, in all categories, are in the form of a panel containing a description of the goods and/or services being offered, with the member's contact details on the right-hand side, including a link to their website. The member's photo or logo (size 90X70px) is displayed on the left-hand side of the panel. The main description (not including contact details) can contain up to 80 words.

Cost
The cost of a basic listing is £25 per year.

Can I buy a bigger listing?
No. We want all our members to have an equal chance of being found. All listings, in all categories, are the same size. However, you can purchase a full-page extension, accessed from your listing via a "Find our more" link, for £125/year, or £15 per month. This page is an optional extra, and can only be purchased in combination with a basic listing. To see an example "Find Out More" page, Click here.

What are the advantages of having a listing on UKPsychics.com?
UKPsychics.com is one of the world's most highly regarded websites in the psychic genre, linked from thousands of other sites and regularly featured in press articles, TV and radio programmes. It has had page 1 positioning in the top search engines since it was launched in 1999, and every page is indexed by Google (Click here to verify), which means that, in addition to exposure to the traffic coming through this site, your listing - and your business-card page if you take one - will appear in Google search results for terms relevant to the content of your listing/page.

Sorry, no. The Network is strictly limited to individuals, organizations and companies with an address and a physical presence in the UK, and the services offered in listings must be available in the geographical area under which the listing appears. Listings must also include a UK telephone number.
Can I use a premium phone line number in my listing? Click here

No. The number you give in your listing must be a normal telephone number at which you can be contacted by customers/clients. It can be a landline or a mobile phone number (or both), but it must not be a premium phone line. If you wish to use your listing to promote a premium number service you can do so by linking to a "Find Out More" page (which must include full details of your call rates), or to a page on your own website.

The main advantage of having a full page is that it will appear in the search results in major search engines for terms relevant to the goods or services you are offering; and, after 12 years online, with inbound links from thousands of websites around the world, UKPsychics.com has an exceptionally strong internet presence. If your own website has high positioning in search engine result pages, then you probably do not need a page on UKPsychics.com: you can simply link directly to your website from your listing. If, however, your website does not have a strong internet presence and is not found near the top of search results, then having a page on UKPsychics.com could prove to be of considerable benefit.
Our single page, "find out more" website is intended as an extension to your Directory listing; however, if you do not already own a website, a page on UKPsychics.com may be all you need to promote yourself and do business online. It is also worth bearing in mind that visitors to a website are far more likely to click a "find out more" link (which isn't going to take them away from the site they're exploring) than they are to click on a link that will take them to a different website.

You will have a 2-week period in which to make changes to your listing (and/or page) from the date it goes online. Making changes at any other time (either to your listing or to your private page) will incur a £5 service charge.

Only if you give visitors the option to play it. Surveys have consistently shown - and our own experience bears this out - that the vast majority of web users (in the region of 95%) do not like websites that play music automatically when they load.
How many words can I have in my listing? Click here

The maximum number of words allowed (NOT including your contact details) is 80, provided these can be contained in seven lines of text. There is no limit to the number of words you can have on your private page.
